Admission Into MBBS Course Under "A" Category
The candidates who were allotted to NRI Medical College, Chinakakani for admission into MBBS ‘A’ Category seats are directed to bring the following documents in Original along with two sets of photo copies during the time of their reporting for admission into the college.
- Provisional allotment order issued by Dr.NTR UHS
- Printout of Provisional Application form submitted to Dr.NTR UHS
- Admit Card of NEET UG – 2024
- Rank Card of NEET UG – 2024
- Date of Birth Certificate /SSC or Equivalent examination (SSC/CBSC/ICSE) certificate showing the Date of Birth
- Intermediate pass certificate cum memorandum of marks (Long Memo) of qualifying examination in Intermediate of Equivalent examination.
- Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Andhra Pradesh State should submit Equivalence certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, at the time of admission in the college.
- Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and also Equivalence certificate issued by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, at the time of admission in the college.

Eligibility for Admission Into MBBS Course Under Management Quota
1. No candidate shall be admitted to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course unless he/she has completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year in which the candidate is seeking admission.
2. No candidate shall be admitted to the first Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course unless he/she has passed a qualifying examination as under.
a) Two years intermediate examination of Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh under 10+2 pattern with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Biology as optional that shall include a practical test in each subject.

b) Any other examination of 10+2 pattern recognized by the Dr.YSR University in Andhra Pradesh or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects, which shall include a practical test in each of these subjects.

c) The pre-professional / premedical examination with Physics,Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The pre-professional / pre-medical examination shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and also English as a compulsory subject.

d) The first year of the three years degree course of a recognized University, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.

e) B.Sc Examination of an Indian University, provided that he / she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less than two of the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) and further that he / she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with the following subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

f) Any other examination whose scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate science examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
Note :
1. The pre-medical course my be conducted either in a Medical College or Science College.
2. The marks obtained in Mathematics are not to be considered for admission to MBBS course.
3. Candidate possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the State / Country should produce a Certificate of Equivalence from the Registrar, Dr.YSR University of Health Sciences, A.P., Vijayawada, India.
4. A Candidate for admission to MBBS course must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. However, in respect of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Classes the qualifying marks should be 40% instead of 50%.
