NRI Institute of Paramedical Sciences was started in the year 2003. With 9 Diploma Courses they were DMLT (20 seats), Certificate in Blood Banking Technology (10 seats), Diploma in Radiographic Assistant (20 seats), Diploma in Dark Room Assistant (10 seats), ECG Technician course (10 seats), Diploma in Audiometric Technician (10 seats), Diploma in Opthalmic Assistant (20 seats), Diploma in Optometrist course (10 seats), Diploma in Respiratory Therapy Technician (4 seats).

In 2008 three new Diploma courses were started they are Diploma in Anesthesia Technician (10 seats), Diploma in Perfusion Technician (4 seats), Diploma in Cathlab Technician (10 seats).

Gradually in the year 2014 the number of seats in Diploma in Respiratory Therapy was enhanced from 4 to 10 seats and new Diploma in Dialysis Technician course was introduced with intake of 4 seats.

In 2017 for new Diploma courses were introduced they are Diploma in Cardiology Technology (15 seats), Diploma in Radiotherapy Technician (15 seats), Diploma in Medical Sterilization Management and Operation Theatre Technician (15 seats), and Diploma in Medical Imagining Technician (15 seats) courses.
